How did you learn about the server?: I had initially learned about Yurei Jima through a small friend group. I found myself intrigued initially, as there had previously been a monopoly on Japan-based RP servers, and am now delighted by the idea that there is now another server rising to the occasion of offering roleplay in the context of a Japanese city.

Why do you want to become a beta-tester?: Given how I was previously a member of an aforementioned roleplay community, I had found myself disappointed in quite a lot of things. It was a negative place to be in - especially one that encouraged negativity - which I am ashamed to say I perpetuated with my own behaviors at the time. Not that there is any excuse for that. But alas! Now that Yurei Jima is emerging, I would love to help shape other players' experience on the server to be positive, whether it be during or outside of roleplay. Especially if my activity during beta testing helps optimize the server itself, and how people perceive it!

What do you expect to do once the server fully releases (faction applications, roleplay opportunities, etc.)?: Given that I am a journalism and PR major at present, I can picture myself engaging with the community a lot more than I had previously done in other communities. I would for sure apply to a few factions - such as the government (given how interesting I find the law), police (again, my interest in law; detecting, solving puzzles), or, if it ever becomes a reality, a news faction (gotta use the things I learn in university somehow...). Given that I have the time, of course. Uni has me moving around a lot. If the staff team deems me fit, I may even apply to a media team, given that I am also currently learning skills in relation to media. These are just examples I'm naming off the top of my head, of course. Also - roleplay roleplay roleplay - no matter who it is I'm roleplaying with. A lot of people are much greater writers than they realize, and I would love to challenge them to show their gift. Roleplay, or writing, is a valid method of escapism - and I would not have my partners on the stage feel uncomfortable in any way, shape or form.

• Any bug or unintended feature you encounter must be reported to a staff member via DMs or via server tickets.
• Any items and money you obtain during your beta-testing phase will be reset at the end of it. You will be awarded some in-game money for your contributions.
• You must not share any screenshots containing unreleased content outside of the beta-testing channel. If you'd like to share it, you must first contact a staff member for authorization.
• If you break any of the aforementioned terms, you will be promptly removed and blacklisted from the beta testing team.
