Yep, it's me again. After messing with the food vending machine I noticed I couldn't stack my apples together. Which is why I'm here to suggest that food can be put into stacks rather than individually. I think this would be useful that way to save space and to prevent taking up inventory space so quickly.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention. In order to fix this, we had to make it so players need to hold right click to trigger the Vanilla Minecraft animation for eating/drinking. This unfortunately means that we're unable to add "durability" to these items, meaning they're one-time use.
To balance this, we have increased the amount of energy you receive after finishing the eating animation. This should hopefully fix the inventory issues you have been facing.
