How did you learn about the server?: After a recently closed RP server had shut down for good (unsure if I am allowed to mention other servers), I was scrolling past the members, and one mentioned Yurei Jima RP, specifically about how they needed builders. I’m not a builder in any way, but I still checked the server out nevertheless, and thus landed me here.

Why do you want to become a beta-tester?: The RP community is something I’ve been a part of for years now, though this mainly took place in either Discord itself, forums, and mainly D&D. Roleplay on Minecraft isn’t something I’m very accustomed to and I’ve only briefly been a part of one roleplay server which shut down more than a few months ago. Still, I’m a bit hesitant to branch out into more popular servers as I’ve heard many negative things from mutual friends regarding the community itself and seeing how Yurei Jima RP is currently in beta, I’ve decided it’s the perfect time to try it out. Yurei Jima seems like a very moderated server and isn’t based in the Western setting; something I am personally not very used to. Japanese culture has always fascinated me, and I hope by becoming a beta-tester, I’ll not only be able to contribute to the server's activity but also become a long-lasting member of this community. I also really enjoy the blunt transparency the owners showcase. To me, it really shows their passion for creating a roleplay environment that everyone can equally enjoy and not have anything destroyed by P2W features (a prominent issue in Discord RP which I have a personal vendetta against).

What do you expect to do once the server fully releases (faction applications, roleplay opportunities, etc.)?: Honestly, the thing that’s stuck out to me the most after skimming through both the forums and server is definitely the factions. As of current, the vice-principal position has just been emptied and I am planning on writing an application for it in the upcoming days, hopefully. The diversity of factions, and even a crime faction seems very fascinating - given the current setting of Yurei Jima I’d love to have the opportunity to be a part of the server. I do understand that the vice-principal position holds an importance in terms of being a role-model player for the community, and I’ve completely acknowledged this. 

The main thing that I’m expecting when the server fully releases is the abundance of players and new roleplay opportunities. With just a quick glimpse through the Discord server for Yurei Jima, it’s clear both the moderation team and owners are very involved with the entire project itself, and this, to me, shows that it’ll be a very successful roleplaying domain during its full release. Knowing this fact, I’d love to support the server early on during its beta-testing stage as a beta player and contribute back to the community.

• Any of the roleplay carried out during your beta-testing term will not be canon, meaning it will be voided once the server is launched.
• Any bug or unintended feature you encounter must be reported to a staff member via DMs or via server tickets.
• Any items and money you obtain during your beta-testing phase will be reset at the end of it. You will be awarded some in-game money for your contributions.
• You must not share any screenshots containing unreleased content outside of the beta-testing channel. If you'd like to share it, you must first contact a staff member for authorization.
• If you break any of the aforementioned terms, you will be promptly removed and blacklisted from the beta testing team.
