Becoming a part of such a faction would be something outside of my comfort zone, factions like these aren’t my forte’ and I want to try something new, see how I'd adapt to such an environment and what role play it entails. Another reason is the roleplay and character benefits and progression. The character i'll be using in the faction would fit this role since he is written in a way that does fit the demographic of psychopathic that prefer being in careers that give them leverage over others, being in a faction like this would assist me in getting something like this played out and what the outcome would look like.

MEDICAL TRIVIA

(PHYSIOLOGY)
If someone is experiencing a reaction to food poisoning, what is the correct way to manage and treat the symptoms?:

When food poisoning is mentioned it’s usually in a light tone being treated like the common cold. Which it is like the common cold or flu, but less taxing on the body depending on your immune system, age and how you caught the illness. Though the most common way to deal with food poisoning is hydration, rest and dieting. In some cases antibiotics and over the counter medication. Pepto Bismol or loperamide are used to prevent diarrhea or ease nausea. If the systems get progressively worse it's recommended to seek professional medical help at that point.

What procedure would you follow if you witness a patient experiencing a seizure?:
If the seizure is a sudden one then removing all hazardous objects around the patient would be a step in the right direction, using something soft to cushion their head while turning them on their side is the second and third step. Turning them on their side ensures they don’t choke on their own vomit, the cushioning of their head prevents further injuries. Monitoring their breathing and the duration of the seizure are the last 2 steps. If the seizure lasts over 5 minutes then professional medical procedures should be applied.

What procedure would you follow if a patient that has entered the hospital has a broken forearm?:
A sling or something similar should be used to keep the patient's forearm in position and prevent frequent or sudden movement that could cause harm should firstly be applied, moving on to an X-Ray to determine the severity of the injury. Depending on the severity either a cast or splint should be applied to the injured arm.

What procedure would you follow if a patient enters the hospital struggling to breathe?:
Ensure all airways are clear, if it’s not choking then provide oxygen and ensure airways are clear and open, if it comes down to it provide CPR if the patient is unresponsive. Medication may have to be applied and other methods depending on the severity, such as an asthma pump.

(PSYCHIATRY)
A patient is experiencing a panic attack before an important procedure. How would you assist the patient?

Making sure the patient’s safety and well being is properly taken into account, answer any questions they have and install breathing techniques to help the patient calm down, answer any questions they have and reassure them as much as possible

A belligerent patient in the middle of a psychotic episode stumbles into the emergency room. What should you do?
Ensure the patient who’s being tended to in the emergency room is safe before patiently trying to de-escalate the situation with the irritated patient, ensuring they have no weapons or anything that could harm anyone in the area. Making sure not to overwhelm the patient and ensure there’s someone to assist in the de escalation as well

THE INTERVIEW
[Congratulations! Your character scored an interview, please answer the following all in ICLY fashion]

The Hospital Director takes a seat at their desk, clasping their hands together with a calm gaze as they greet the individual. Their desk is clean and pristine, aside from a half-filled tea cup that continues to steam, giving the room a lovely aroma.
-

“Good afternoon. I will be conducting your interview today. Could I have your full name as well as your age and date of birth, please?”

-
Sat upright and fixed his hair with a light tug of his fringes
“Goro Giichi, i was born in nineteen fifty five which would make me thirty years old today. Specifically June twenty eighth.”

“Very nice. Now, could you tell me a little more about yourself? Do you have a family, perhaps some motivations behind why you’d like to work here?”
-
Leaned back in the chair folded his arms, his finger followed with a tap as while replied, his tone remained professional as were his answers. “Before we continue i would like to give you my thanks for allowing me to do an interview for the Attending Surgeon position. To start off I have a daughter who’s entering her teens. As for me..”

Goro trailed with a hand on his chest and the other in his lap. “I am a welcoming and sociable person while also being able to professionally carry out the tasks needing to be done, do genuinely enjoy helping others and after studying the job description I'm confident i fit this role and will be able to execute my job perfectly” The man said while giving a slight smile then leaning back like before

“Would you like us to refer to you by your surname or first name? As well as what honorifics you’d like.”

“Mr. Giichi is fine” He simply stated

The director nods in affirmation, now understanding the type of person the individual was and readjusts their posture, taking a sip of that aromatic green tea before continuing to speak.
“It is nice meeting you, then. Now, Let us move on to some more important questions regarding your role.”

-
“A patient arrives with a severe injury and is panicking uncontrollably. Walk me through how you would handle this situation.”
The man gave himself some time to think about the question, maybe a second or two. “Visually assessing the patient would be a start..” Goro contemplated a bit, this was obvious by him lightly rubbing his chin

“To see just what type of injury it is and the type of patient. Though generally de-escalating the situation and reassuring the patient would be best, So no further harm is caused, once that’s done then the patient can be professionally examined.” He raised a single hand as if he was suggesting something “You'll want to take control of the situation correct?” The man propped one foot over the other, while one hand swung over the back of the chair.
-

“During an emergency, if any other hospital staff are unavailable however there is a patient in need, can we trust you to stabilize them or treat them to an acceptable degree?”
“Being prepared for anything is in the job description. Naturally we’re prepared for the worst situations, doctors, nurses, surgeons , whichever role you play in the hospital. So yes you can count on that as that is the least you’re asking of me and what I can do.”
-
“Could you run me through on the plethora of equipment you may find within your personal office if you are to be given the role of a resident? Just simply medical equipment.”
His head tilted whilst his eyes wandered in the opposite direction. Truly pondering this question a little longer than the rest “I believe the usual equipment.. Such as the stethoscope, an examination chair of sorts.. A thermometer, the typical things you see upon visiting the doctor. Though I would like to have one of those surgical sam's. I've never operated on a toddler before so it would be nice to have one practice and study.”

Suddenly the man snapped his fingers then pointed at the Director “Of Course! How could i forget my surgical equipment, i do like to clean and organize such things in my free time, other than those things that’s about it. I do like to be tidy as much as possible so there won’t be other than whats needed in my office.”
