How did you learn about the server?
A friend, @atoki notified me about the development of the server a long while ago, and then informed me that the beta-testing applications were open. He, a couple of our other friends and I had been discussing the concept of new servers opening for a while, so YRP has honestly come at a great time for a lot of people!
Why do you wish to become a beta tester?
I have experience on similar servers in the past, although I am not currently active on any.
My friends and I are all familiar with the dynamic of servers such as YRP, and since joining the discord and seeing the development, it is safe to say I am looking forward to seeing the server enter it's beta-phase and eventually release.
YRP is somewhere that I believe I'll be able to connect with other players and portray characters and storylines with my friends. The server, despite being in development currently, already appears to be of high quality.
Despite that, I understand all servers need to enter a beta-phase to pick out where improvements can be made, and if that means having to do that, I am more than happy to! I am not expecting the server to be completely perfect during the beta-phase, however, the YRP server opening honestly seems rather refreshing, as I believe the concept of the server appears to have a lot to offer and sets itself apart from others.
Alongside that, I am familiar with the developer/founder and have been for a few years now! I am aware that the server is going to be of high quality, as demonstrated by his previous work in other communities.
What do you expect to do once the server releases?
I expect to develop characters that I can commit to, as I have done in the past. Having been in decent positions in the past I like to think I am more than able to maintain a character and do so appropriately!
I like to think I am more than capable of developing lore for my characters and portraying them in the way I have in mind- largely due to my experience in the past with doing so.
Seeing what factions appeal to me is something else that piques my interest, and I'm highly considering joining them in future. I may even be interested in the OOC aspect of getting involved with the server, however, that's a decision to make at a later date.
As the server releases and players are allowed to enter, I expect to go on as I typically would. I do plan on being active, as of current times I do not have many commitments.

- I will not abuse, hide, or lie about any bugs or unintended features that I find on the server. In such case, I will report it via Discord/Forums channels.
- I understand that any content found on the server is, by default, public and shareable. Nonetheless, I will not share any contents that have been explicitly marked as "private" or "not available for public".
- I will be active as a beta tester, periodically logging on and getting pre-release updates on the server while also researching which aspects of the server could be improved.
- I will follow all rules stated in the rulebook and follow the staff team's instructions when necessary for the safety of the server.
- I may change the style of this thread to improve its readability, but I will not change or skip any questions found in the format.
