What role would you prefer and why?:
(You can find the list of departments available in the informational section.)
I am looking to join the Physician Department, it is the most appealing to me and what I am looking to accomplish on the server.
Do you have any prior experience with MedicalRP?:
Yes! I have quite a bit of experience with MedicalRP, ranging from working with hospitals on other servers set in multiple time periods to crude MedicalRP within GangRP, I have learned quite a bit about what is right and wrong within this type of RP as well as how to avoid triggering topics to the best of my ability when it comes to making sure that all players can feel comfortable when working with me whether it be in the hospital or on the scene to help patients out. Among my various experiences I have dabbled heavily into daily RecoveryRP in which I follow a structured schedule with a specific character to help their character recover while under my care, this can be administrating medicine, helping them with eating, scheduling psychiatrist appointments, prepping them for surgery before the surgeons take over, and more of their daily needs to get back to 100%. On the GangRP side, I learned a more crude way of doing MedicalRP like being able to patch up scrapes, bruises, and small cuts within someone's arms and legs to help keep wanted criminals within my gang off cops' radars and away from hospitals. However, I know this will not be my focus here I think it helps explain I understand how to utilize very little resources to get far.
Are you aware that with MedicalRP comes the possibility of encountering possibly triggering topics?:
I understand fully that all types of RP will come with the possibility of triggering topics and must certainly I find unavoidable situations involving them here in a hospital, I will always put my best foot forward and continue on no matter what.

Whether I need to take a role in leadership or simply be a part of the team I can easily find my place within a team, allowing me to be flexible and accommodating to everyone, putting improving the team at the top of my list. Whether it is MedicalRP on another server or even GangRP I was able to find my role that allowed me to be important and useful to the team so that my skill set can be best utilized towards the team's overall goals and its success.
MEDICAL TRIVIA
(PHYSIOLOGY)
If someone is experiencing a reaction to food poisoning, what is the correct way to manage and treat the symptoms?:
An adverse reaction linked to food poisoning is the loss of fluids, whether this is through something like vomiting or another form we have to make sure that the patient is properly hydrated throughout the entire process. Using hydration formulas to help replace fluids is one of the main ways we can help to treat it and to help the person recover. If the patient is suffering from extreme dehydration, an IV drip can be used to help.
What procedure would you follow if you witnessed a patient experiencing a seizure?:
First off, you would need to stay calm, panicking in a situation where a seizure would be happening would make things extremely worse, then you would need to watch your surroundings and identify objects that could have caused the seizure, or objects that could cause injury whilst they are experiencing a seizure. Getting them either into a hospital room and lying down or starting transportation to the hospital immediately after surveying the general vicinity would be the next steps as we need to make sure that the person does not choke from their own saliva or their tongue falling back into their mouth. During this time you should be keeping track of the length of the seizure and avoiding allowing anything to enter their mouth as it could become deadly. After the seizure ends you want to get them sat up allowing the patient to slowly come to before you start any major medical examinations or giving them any fluids or medicine.
What procedure would you follow if a patient who has entered the hospital has a broken forearm?:
Upon receiving the patient at the hospital a split and stabilizers will be outfitted for the patient before they are brought to a room for the broken forearm to be examined and then shuffled into X-rays for the depth of the damage to be examined further and to allow for a plan of action to be formulated, upon looking through the findings of the broken forearm, a cast shall be made after such findings are reviewed to ensure the best course of action for the patient.
What procedure would you follow if a patient enters the hospital struggling to breathe?:
Upon their entering the hospital, it is considered a life-threatening state, so they should be rushed immediately to the ER, where attempts to assess their current condition should be started immediately by looking for any blockage in the airway and by using a stethoscope to listen to their breathing as they attempt to take in a breath or two, should the airway be found blocked then you should attempt CPR on the patient to unblock or unclog the airways if this is unsuccessful then you may be resorted to cutting open the airway to provide a way to let them breathe. If the patient is just having issues but is still able to breathe you can look for inflamed lungs or possibly holes in their lungs causing fluids to enter them or them to not be able to fully take in a breath.
(PSYCHIATRY)
A patient is experiencing a panic attack before an important procedure. How would you assist the patient?
I would first try to calm the patient down by speaking to them calmly about their feelings before the procedure. I would also move the person to a more quiet room. It's important to keep myself, the patient, and everyone else in the area safe.
A belligerent patient in the middle of a psychotic episode stumbles into the emergency room. What should you do?
I should first prioritize the safety of myself, the patient, and others in the area, which I can do by calling security, maintaining distance, and ensuring an exit is near me. My main priority would be to make sure everyone in the area is safe.
Which neurotransmitter is most commonly associated with depression
Serotonin is the main transmitter that is associated with depression. It regulates someone's mood, sleep, appetite and emotional wellbeing.
What does the Acronym [PTSD] stand for, and what does it entail
PTSD, which also stands for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder is a mental condition that has a chance to develop after a person has suffered a traumatic accident. This condition can lead to depression and/or thoughts of violence.

Kept his smile towards her, nodding as he spoke.
"Of course, let's get into it."

After calming them down, I'd get them to a room and start any necessary procedures, such as checking for bruises, bleeding, or even any breaks, additionally, during this, I'd destabilize any infections that may be occuring. After assessing their injuries, I'd get them into the care of the hospital and recommend any treatment options, such as resting, giving them clean gauze, and securing that with bandages, a cast, or at the worst point, surgery. It's my utmost duty to make sure nobody is extremely hurt and is always in my care."
โDuring an emergency, if any other hospital staff are unavailable however there is a patient in need, can we trust you to stabilize them or treat them to an acceptable degree?โ
Kaito swiftly nodded his head, staring the director in the eyes with a confident look.
"I assure you that even if I am the only staff on duty, a patient's care is my most important priority and I'll always help a patient to the best of my abilities."
โCould you run me through the plethora of equipment you may find within your personal office if you are to be given the role of a resident? Just simply medical equipment.โ
He'd nod at the director again, taking a moment to think.
"First off, I'd have my hospital identification, as I can always get any other supplies from the hospital storage, as for other items, I'd have sterile gloves, gauze, band-aids, writing utensils, small textbooks and other notebooks.
