Seichiro | Yukinomiya ้›ชๅฎฎ
โ€œThe Unbreakable Owl, Personification of Devotion.โ€

Manifest as devotion itself, Seichiro upholds love for his partner, even in death. Often depicted as a large and graceful snowy-owl with reverent placidity radiating from it. Newly-weds who spot him are often blessed with a long and happy marriage, yet Seichiroโ€™s appearance denotes that the husband will be fated to pass first.

Yukinomiya Snowscapes | Location & Information

Refusing to allow for his sacred devotion to be wasted within the cursed city, Seichiro withdrew from the modern life entirely. Instead, he follows a quieter calling.

Drifting along the north-eastern reaches of Norowarejima, Seichiro's presence is most often found within the vast, snow-laden mountains of Yukinomiya. A place where the world appears to remain untouched, and the veil between the human realm and Yomi wears dangerously thin. Defined by its dense woodlands, and blizzard afflicted hills, the distant call of snow-owls manifest. It is not known if he follows them, or they follow him, but more often than not, he finds solace here with the Kite of Promise.

Long after the isle of Norowarejima became inhabited, there lived a man whose devotion surpassed death itself. Bound by the purest form of love and an unfulfilled final wish, his spirit refused to pass on, clinging instead to the one he could not leave behind. As a descendant of Tsumiyaku-no-Kami, she took pity upon his soul, and from that devotion, she gave him form to something new.

Thus, Seichiro was born, the Owl of Devotion. No longer bound by the limits of a mundane life, he was granted greater purpose in the wheel of reincarnation, forever spiritually locked to reincarnate with his lover, Tsunemai. She alone anchors his existence as the Kite of Promise. Where Seichiro is devotion, she is the vow that gives it meaning. Together, they lived their lives, loved, and passed on naturally only to reincarnate once more.

Yet on the tenth reincarnation, they shed their mortal coils and ascended higher, into devotion and vow manifest.

Seichiro is typically depicted as gentle beyond natural measure. Soft-spoken in presence and nature, he is deeply attuned to the emotions and wellbeing of those whom he protects. Malice, foreign to him, is cut free at the root by Tsunemai, as she makes sure no harm is to come, whilst Seichiro shields her.

Those who gain the favor of Seichiro, are said to gain a willpower, and devotion that will never let go.
