What type of company are you applying for? (Business or Shop): I’m applying for a shop and plan to run it as a nightclub.
What will the company’s name be?: Shinkai - 深海
What kinds of services or items will your company offer?: The main focus will be nightlife… so drinks, music, events. Japanese-style interior, atmosphere, and menu. The bar will stock a mix of imported sake, high-end whiskey, signature cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. On the food side, small plates like yakitori skewers, karaage, sushi rolls, or other bar-friendly bites. The club’s aim is to give people a place that feels a bit more high-end and mysterious compared to the usual. Might also host special nights or private events to keep things spicy.
How will your company be unique?: Shinkai isn’t just supposed to be another place to get a drink. It’s meant to be an experience. We’ll host invitation-only nights that keep the crowd fresh and the atmosphere unpredictable. The club will have one or two hidden VIP areas for trusted guests, perfect for private meetings or just escaping the main floor. There’ll also be a few “off-menu” services (find out IRP once it's time
) for those who know how to ask, keeping that edge of mystery alive. On top of that, I plan to mix it up with live entertainment and events. DJs, jazz nights, maybe even traditional Japanese instruments or more to make Shinkai feel like a living, breathing part of the island.
Where do you plan for your building to be located?: Honestly, no clue yet since I haven’t seen the whole map myself, tho a larger plot would propably be better. I’m fine with going for a spot that the faction lead thinks fits best… somewhere that works for the vibe I’m going for and makes sense for the nightlife scene. Somewhere lively accessible, in the busy city.
Do you have a designated builder for your company’s building?: None at the moment, but I’m fine with working with whoever gets assigned to it.

For the exterior… I want it to look like it belongs right in the middle of a busy street. A big signage, glowing lights, the kind of place that pulls your attention from across the road and makes you curious where those stairs in the entrance lead to. It should stand out, but still feel authentic to the area.
For the interior, I plan for that proper Tokyo nightlife vibe! Low lighting, neon reds and blues, private booths, and a bar setup that feels both high-class and a little rough around the edges. Somewhere people can drink, dance, and maybe a VIP room or two to talk business without the whole club listening in.
How do you intend to stay active?: I plan to keep the place running regularly. Sometimes with events, maybe themed nights, while making sure it stays a go-to spot. I’ll be active in and out of business hours, using the club as both a hangout and a front for my character’s network and interactions so there’s always something going on.
How will you pay your employees?: Payment will be based on a cut from the night’s earnings plus tips, so the busier the night, the better they get paid. Bigger events or private bookings will come with bonus pay.
How many employees will you hire, and what will their roles be?: I plan to have atleast 2–4 bartenders, 2–3 servers, 2-4 security staff, 1 or 2 chef(s)/kitchen hand(s) for our small food menu, and 1-3 DJs or performers whose slot can rotate depending on events.
