Introduction​

Below, you can find all the information needed to properly apply to the Yurei Jima RP Social Team. The information provided is subject to being updated and/or changed once Yurei Jima RP announces its official release. If you are unsure or need help with applying to the team or just have some questions about the team itself, contact the Social Coordinator, @wesnt. You are also required to be within the Discord Server to apply.
Weโ€™d like to welcome you, and thank you for taking an interest in our team.
Together, we will work to create projects that immerse our community further into the sleepy island of Norowarejima.

What are we looking for?​

Our main goal is to guide the audience through the server. For this, weโ€™d like our members to have a basic understanding of presentation of style, promotion of goods, professionalism in a team, and basic marketing.
Our team is currently looking for VIDEO EDITORS or GRAPHIC DESIGNERS.

๐ŸŽฌ VIDEO EDITORS​

As a video editor, you'll be working with recorded clips from the server or scripted roleplay scenes. You may be assigned time-based projects, but you're also encouraged to take initiative and create your own video concepts that promote the server or showcase its stories and/or features.

๐ŸŽจ GRAPHIC DESIGNERS​

As a graphic designer, you'll help develop promo art, banners, thumbnails, social media posts, or story-related visuals. Similar to editors, you'll sometimes receive assignments, and other times you're welcome to create freely for the team.
All projects will have a reasonable deadline and we will work together to make sure you are supported throughout. Whether you prefer structured work or spontaneous creativity, thereโ€™s a place here for you.
Please keep the following in mind:
  • As part of the team, you are required to remain cordial and professional with other members of the team.
  • Please be fair and respectful when speaking of othersโ€™ work.
If you join any community teams, you will automatically receive a whitelist to the Minecraft server!

Guidelines and Regulations​

The following guidelines and regulations are required when applying to the Social Team. Read them thoroughly before applying to achieve the best results.

Guidelines​

Below are some recommendations that will greatly improve your chances of getting accepted. Keep them in mind and include them in your application to show us that you're interested in our team and want to help us bring the server forward!
  • Originality: Your application must be your own work. We will check thoroughly for traces of theft/AI use. Do not risk being blacklisted from the Team.
  • Creativity: Please bring your own sense of creativity to your application! To highlight your projects, make sure to exclude the older projects, as they fail to portray your current art style.
  • Formatting: When writing text and dialogue, please separate them by lines. Itโ€™s easier to read and looks far more pleasing. And preferably follow the 4-5 line paragraph rule.
  • Taking on Requests: As part of the Social team, youโ€™ll be expected to take on requests from server promotion (showcasing features, updates, storylines, etc.) or the community. Youโ€™re expected to complete these projects within the given deadline.
  • Rewards: By finishing projects (Uploads to the Social Media account), you will receive community points. You can exchange these points for community bonuses, such as ranks, custom items, etc.
  • Availability: Youโ€™re allowed to join and create for other roleplay servers and communities, but you must remain regularly active within Yurei Jima RP.
  • Credits: Any contributions will be properly credited across the Yurei Jima RP forums, social media, etc.

Regulations​

Below are the rules that you must comply with when applying for this community team. Failure to acknowledge them or not meeting any of these criteria will warrant an automatic removal from the team, regardless of whether your application has been accepted or not.
  • Criticism: You may encounter constructive criticism. @wesnt is here to help guide you and improve your promotional skills, so try to take feedback with optimism.
  • Plagiarism: Please refrain from using othersโ€™ work as your own. Inspiration in itself is approved, but you may not claim a project that was not made by you.
  • Minimum Age: You must be over the age of 16 to apply.
  • Requesting Help: If you need assistance with your application, ideas, or feedback, you can make a ticket through the Discord and request help from @wesnt.

Format​

When clicking the "Post Thread" button, you will be given the application's format automatically. However, if you lost it or wish to change its aesthetics, you may do so by copying the format below. Make sure you do not omit or change any of the already-existing questions.
Youโ€™re welcome to get creative with formatting or design, but understand that those changes will also be taken into account.
Please answer as thoroughly and as honestly as possible for a fair judgment across the board.

Please confirm that you agree to the following terms:
  • I will receive constructive criticism and I will accept having my videos modified/dismissed to fit the register & public of the server.
  • I will do my best to correct the potential mistakes I commit as a social team member.
  • I will try my best to comply with the deadlines established by the Social Lead.
  • I will not use any sort of AI software to directly generate my work.
  • I will not trace nor re-use someone else's work to finish my commissions.
