What is your motivation to apply to the Norowarejima Hospital Faction?:
I've been seeing the server's progression, and I wanted to become something crucial to roleplaying in the server.
I thought becoming a doctor would fill that need. I am really looking forward to experiencing roleplay scenarios that I haven't before, such as MedicalRP.
ROLE-SPECIFIC QUESTIONS & MEDICAL TRIVIA
What role would you prefer and why?:
The role I would prefer most out of all the roles would be a surgeon. I believe I would do the best job as a surgeon since I like to detail my actions, so I believe that would be where I will best perform. I like to learn a lot about the human anatomy, and about organs and such. I study it in real life and I am looking forward to putting that knowledge into roleplay!
Do you have any prior experience with MedicalRP?:
Unfortunately, with MedicalRP, I do not.
But as I stated in the question above, I do study human anatomy and how the human body works, and I always love to learn more!
Are you aware that with MedicalRP comes the possibility of encountering possibly triggering topics?:
Yes, I am aware of the risks of MedicalRP and what I can trigger with some topics.
How well can you coordinate with a team during Roleplay?:
I can work very well with teams, I can keep up with actions and action accordingly. I love teamwork, it's what brings me the most joy in roleplaying in factions.
MEDICAL TRIVIA
(PHYSIOLOGY)
If someone is experiencing a reaction to food poisoning, what is the correct way to manage and treat the symptoms?:
If someone is experiencing food poisoning, it would be crucial to flush out anything first.
Firstly, hydration. If you are experiencing food poisoning, you should always be hydrated.
Secondly, good rest. Resting is important, you should rest so your body can recover.
Last but not least, Diet. Sticking to easily digestible foods, fluids such as apple sauce. Or soft foods like bananas should work just fine.
What procedure would you follow if you witness a patient experiencing a seizure?:
Firstly, you would want to clear the area around them. As the person can't control their body, they could knock out objects around them and potentially injure themselves more.
Secondly, their comfort is important, make sure something padded is under their head. And remove any tight clothing.
What procedure would you follow if a patient that has entered the hospital has a broken forearm?:
If a patient entered the hospital with a broken forearm, I'd lead them on a stretcher and bring them to the X-ray room. Checking how serious the injury is. While on it, I will check their background for their history with the hospital to determine if they have any diseases or conditions that could threaten their life. After the machine is done, and I have logged all the injuries. I will put the patient back on the stretcher and bring him to the correct room to undergo the correct procedures, providing them with a cast, proper medication, and more information, such as treatment and recovery time.
What procedure would you follow if a patient enters the hospital struggling to breathe?:
I'd first put the patient on a stretcher, bringing them over to the trauma room to continue with the procedure.
I'd first check the airways to find out if the cause was from an obstructed an unclear airway.
If that's not the case, I'd provide the patient with oxygen from a mask and proceed to check their circulation.
I'll check their heart rate and blood pressure. Then I will establish IV access.
If necessary, I will remove all tight clothing that might be causing more struggle to breathe.
If they are still struggling, I will contact a higher-up or a supervisor to assess the situation.
(PSYCHIATRY)
A patient is experiencing a panic attack before an important procedure. How would you assist the patient?
If a patient is experiencing a panic attack. I will firstly try and calm them down, speaking to them in a sweet, calming voice.
"Everything will be fine." "You're safe."
If that doesn't seem to work, I will guide them on how to breathe
"Inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 2, exhale for 6 seconds."
If the panic attack gets more severe, I'll have to consider medications.
A belligerent patient in the middle of a psychotic episode stumbles into the emergency room. What should you do?
Firstly, I will exfil anyone around the patient experiencing the episode. Safety over everything.
I will try to de-escalate the situation. I'll talk to them in a calming tone, while getting another staff member to call for security, or get the station ready for the patient.
If the patient isn't calming down, I will have to get security or the police to handle the patient.

THE INTERVIEW
The Hospital Director takes a seat at their desk, clasping their hands together with a calm gaze as they greet the individual. Their desk is clean and pristine, aside from a half-filled tea cup that continues to steam, giving the room a lovely aroma.
Jakob Donฤiฤ was already sitting in the seat opposite the Director, he would be fidgeting with his hands before he saw the Director. He quickly put his hands on his lap before straightening up. He would greet the Hospital Director back, as well as compliment the tidy desk.
โGood afternoon. I will be conducting your interview today. Could I have your full name as well as your age and date of birth, please?โ
Jakob would clear his throat, speaking up, he had a very deep balkan accent. "My name? My name is Jakob Donฤiฤ. I am 27 years old. I was born on the first of August, 1998."
He'd say with newfound confidence.
โVery nice. Now, could you tell me a little more about yourself? Do you have a family, perhaps some motivations behind why youโd like to work here?โ
"About myself?" He'd repeat. "Well, I come over here all the way from Slovenia, and I heard the reputation here is off the roof!
I decided to move here after I finished medical school. I moved here about a year ago."
"Family...? Here, no. But back in Slovenia, I have a large family. I have about 10 siblings, all cramped up in a little itty-bitty house!"
He'd make a "Small" gesture with his fingers jokingly, then realize the seriousness of the situation. Straightening up, and cleared his throat.
"And motivation... Great question, I'd say my motivation to join is to, well... Help people!
Ever since I was a child, I would always treat my siblings' wounds, whether it was just a small scratch or a big one.
I then took my habit of helping people to school when I grew up, I got accepted to medical school, and... Now I'm here!
I won't get into my backstory... But to sum up, my motivation is to help people, save people, just save lives in general!"
โWould you like us to refer to you by your surname or first name? As well as what honorifics youโd like.โ
"Well... I am not married... And I don't like the Japanese honorifics, not offending. So I think I'll go with Mr. Jakob."
The director nods in affirmation, now understanding the type of person the individual was and readjusts their posture, taking a sip of that aromatic green tea before continuing to speak.
โIt is nice meeting you, then. Now, Let us move on to some more important questions regarding your role.โ
He'd listen to the Director speaking, quickly adjusting his posture accordingly. his hands staying on his lap.
โA patient arrives with a severe injury and is panicking uncontrollably. Walk me through how you would handle this situation.โ
He would look down, thinking for a bit before looking back up at the Director. "Firstly, I'd try to calm the patient down. Try everything to my knowledge to calm them down. Once I achieved that, I'd move the patient on a stretcher, stopping any bleeding there is, and move them to the Trauma room. Examining the injury. Depending on the injury, I'll then act accordingly. Whether surgery or just a simple cast."
โDuring an emergency, if any other hospital staff are unavailable however there is a patient in need, can we trust you to stabilize them or treat them to an acceptable degree?โ
"Yes, you can trust me with anything you throw at me. I will act accordingly."
โCould you run me through on the plethora of equipment you may find within your personal office if you are to be given the role of a resident? Just simply medical equipment.โ
"Hmm..." He'd hum, thinking for a quick second before speaking up. "I'd have a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, a thermometer, preferably digital. A reflex hammer, a tuning fork, a penlight, and a measuring tape."
