BASIC LORE

Originally established as a modest clinic to serve the small population of Norowarejima, the Inarigetsu Clinic soon found new life through funding from the influential Hatano family. With their support, the clinic was rebuilt on a much grander scale, expanding as the island's population grew. As the community flourished, so did its healthcare, and the clinic not only became a hub for health and recovery but also began offering hospice care for the growing number of scientists who had migrated to the island to investigate its mysterious paranormal phenomena. These researchers had come not just to study the island's strange activities, but also to explore an entirely new region of scientific inquiry.

As Norowarejima's population swelled, so too did the clinic, evolving into a vital home for both the islanders' health and the advancement of scientific discovery within the island's biologists. This transformation was made possible by the combined efforts of the Hatano family, tips in from the other inhabiting family; The Han, the dedicated Hospital staff, and the island's expanding population. What began as a small clinic soon became a grand center of healing, research, and innovation—a cornerstone of both the island's wellbeing and its intellectual future.

HOW THE HOSPITAL WORKS

Once players have been accepted into the Hospital faction, they will start off with the [RESIDENT] in-game tag. During this period, the Residents will receive upwards of a month of training, going through not only the physiological process of hospital work, though also the Psychological process. Upon completing their training and receiving their grades, Each resident will be moved into the role of their choosing.

Better grades in Physiology > Doctors/Nurses/Surgeons

Better grades in Psychology > Psychiatrists/Nurses/Therapists

Upon finishing the month-long training, the Residents will each receive 250k before moving on to their respective roles. Then on, as the now Hospital Workers continue to be promoted, their pay-rates will raise. All Hospital Workers are required to reach a minimum of 40 Quota to receive their pay. However each additional 10 will grant them an additional 50k until they reach the maximum of 60 quota.

Do take note that the pay-rates for hospital staff is closely aligned to the economy in Modern Japanese Hospitals.

PROCEDURES WITHIN THE HOSPITAL

The one true goal behind the Norowarejima Emergency Services Hospital is to treat and care for all those brought in through it's doors. Each and every member of the regular hospital staff is as highly valued as each other, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. However they are all trained to protect and treat a plethora of ailments no matter their stated role. Their specialties lie in their roles, however no patient will be left unattended if the Hospital staff can help it.

From simply patching up scrapes and bruises, treating illnesses, caring for broken bones and more, each and every staff member is here to assist. Some may even choose to help the janitors clean the building to receive extra pay! A truly trustworthy group of staff dedicated to the health of everyone provided. Though, as mentioned earlier, their titles relate to their specialties!

ROLES & THEIR SPECIALTIES

RESIDENTS | Newly accepted workers into the faction. Are primarily studying and training under their higherups, however are mostly there to perform basic procedures in order to be promoted to their preferred line of work, whether it be Physiology or Psychiatry.

NURSES | Tend to both the patients and other hospital staff as not only assistants, but caretakers. Some of the highest prioritized workers. Nurses are all-rounders that support not only in the Main Hospital building, but also the Recovery ward where they are primarily found. They tend to a patients needs, collecting information on the patients, providing their medication and more. Even providing support in physio therapy.

DOCTORS | Basic physiologists and all-rounders. Providing medical help in any way they can and primarily treating basic breaks, wounds, illnesses and more. They can be found throughout the hospital, though primarily in the main building tending to patients and providing them with the medical treatment they need to get up and running again!

THERAPISTS | Basic psychologists and all-rounders in the Psychiatry field. They can primarily be found in the psychiatry wing attending to patients mental health, though can be found tending to patients in the recovery ward, providing them with the emotional assistance and guidance they need to thrive once more. Though therapists cannot give official diagnosis for mental conditions and must contact the Psychiatrists.

Any further roles will be explained ICLY by visiting or becoming part of the hospital faction!

GUIDELINES & REGULATIONS

The following Guidelines must be met within each and every application to guarantee your acceptance into the faction as a Resident.
Violating any of these guidelines may result in the compromission of your application.

1 | ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE ENTIRELY ORIGINAL
Copying other applications, information or resorting to AI to write your applications is strictly prohibited. If you are found violating the basic Plagiarism rule will result in a blacklist from applying to this faction and you will be immediately denied.

2 | FOLLOW THE PROVIDED FORMAT TEMPLATE
You may make adjustments for aesthetic purposes or to add additional information. However do not remove any of the sections provided. They are all there for a reason. This also includes the title of your application. Please provide an appropriate title for your applications.

3 | HAVING A POSITIVE REPUTATION
We have the obligation to keep the Hospital Faction a safe space for not only those within the faction, but providing a safe space for the players to visit. If you have received prior recent punishments, those will be taken into account and your application may be affected because of it.

4 | NO THROWAWAYS / TEMPORARY STAYS
If you are applying on a throwaway character (A character made with no intent to play on the long-term), or you join the faction with the intent on gaining an adult-aged role, you will not only be denied but blacklisted from applying again.

5 | PLEASE MAINTAIN ACTIVITY IN AND OUT OF THE FACTION
Although we do not expect players to be constantly active all day on Yurei Jima, we still do expect enough activity to provide support and roleplay to the community. If you are found to be inactive over 7 days since your application has been created, you will be denied

6 | AT LEAST BASIC MEDICAL KNOWLEDGE
As this server allows a range of creative freedom within the community, you must be prepared to encounter some uncommon ailments as a Hospital worker. It is encouraged you do at least a little research before applying to make this process a lot easier. Remember, we will also be training you for a month and thus you will be learning some basic procedures.
