TItle of your suggestion: Door Mechanics
Describe your suggestion: My suggestion is to possibly look into a pre-existing MC plugin called "Big Doors" this is a Spigot plugin which uses Entities to move and transfer blocks to make opening large doors more presenting, say you were wanting to open a garage door to get your car out, wanting to open a construction gate, or a shrine door at the matter the plugin has a lot to offer.
- How will it help the server's growth?
I am unsure how specifically it would help the servers growth but it would specifically be a feature for areas with large sophisticated doors to make opening them more presentable and unique
- Is it feasible with our current assets?
Currently I am unsure as I have yet to look more in-depth of the servers assets and if it would be compatible or not based off of the other plugins on the server
- Is it a priority feature compared to how long it would take to make?
I would not say it is a priority as of now because there are a lot of things that need to be done ahead to ensure that people enjoy their time with quality of life plugins and much more, yet in the future it could possibly be something to look into further
- Which parts of the server would be benefitted from this change?
I would say the different parts of the server that would be benefitted by this plugin could be a few, within this plugin it allows different types of door openings such as garages, gates, and much more, for garages it could be included with the racing faction as a feature for more realistic races, opening garages to get their car out, and much more. It could also have some effects for things like construction sites or abandoned areas on the map with gates included, large doors for the shrine to make use for events and much more.
Additional Notes: I am unsure if entities would cause issues with player based lag or issues throughout the server in general yet I believe it could be a cool feature, I tested it out myself on a private hosting and I did not experience any lag, I found the plugin here with more information. https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/big-doors.58669/
