โ€˜Drive. Rebel. Repeat.โ€™

Sirens wailed in the night, clashing with the screeching sound of war cries and roaring engines. Countless modified Bikes tearing up the asphalt with a plethora of Cop Cruisers not far behind โ€“ chasing down anyone who found themselves at the gatherings tail.

The once large crowds of Bikes soon became a few and a dozen, chased around the streets like a game of Cat and Mouse. The sunrise began to blossom, nearing its arrival. A lone bike turned down a narrow lane, hoping to slip away through more silent terrain; whilst successful, it wasnโ€™t enough. A patrol caught on, eventually halting the delinquent without hesitation, wrapped in handcuffs and eventually taken back to their Precinct.

The sky was illuminated by the crescent moon which slowly faded as dawn approached. Rustling and the sound of hurried movements beckoned until eventually the doorknob twisted, the lock clinking, followed by the far from subtle creaking of the door. An officer, a new one; he came to the door, unlocking it. โ€œAlright kid. Be grateful, someone bailed your ass out. Now, if I had it my way, I'd let you rot in there for accounts of reckless driving and possible criminal associations, but. . But theres no evidence of such.โ€ The elder man spoke with a gruff voice, stern and the kind whoโ€™d no doubt seen things โ€“ brutal things.

And so, the Delinquent was let out, handed his belongings and the key to his Yamaha XS sat, collecting dust in the impound lot. Soon enough, he got on his bike and drove off into the city, only to repeat the same mayhem the following week, unable to break the cycle of rebellion, and just like the week before, sirens wailed, and engines roared โ€“ the hallmark of the Bosozoku.
