Norowarejima with your OCs!

Hello Yurei Jimers!!! I thought it’d be cool to ask you all something about your OCs!!

What is your OC going to become or what would you like them to become?

Will your OC fall in the dark side of Norowarejima? If so, why? What will their reasoning or purpose behind this?

Did your OC grow up in Norowarejima or did they come from another part of Japan or somewhere foreign?

I thought this would be a fun little idea to do and see what everyone’s answers would be.​

Here are my answers!

Question 1
Jun Takane plans to become one of the best surgeons the island has ever seen before. She isn’t just passionate about the job but she’s passionate about giving others a second chance in their life. Saving lives everyday is something Jun enjoys and she’ll continue to do so. Especially working alongside her colleagues and higher ups.

Question 2
As of right now Jun Takane will not fall into the dark side of Norowarejima. She plans to stick to what she loves which is working at the hospital. Even if she does work on criminals, Jun believes they deserve a second chance in life.

Question 3
Jun Takane did not grow up in Norowarejima. However, she did grow up in another part of Japan. She would’ve been born in the Shimane Prefecture. She came to Norowarejima as a fresh start with her family. On top of that she wanted to be in a safer home and Norowarejima seemed like the perfect fit. Not just that but Jun also got accepted to be a resident at the hospital.

Q1: Alan Jackson, Leo Volante has always been on the lawful evil side of the spectrum, while Wyatt Czar is the only one who's Lawful Good, Alan Radleyton However is Chaotic Good, Alan Jackson and Leo Volante will essentially projected to go through a redemption arc to get away from the life they lived as criminals. (only one successfully doing so), While Wyatt Czar will just continue being an animal lover. Alan Radleyton might go into Policing again, if not he's gonna try becoming another P.E Teacher.

Q2: Alan Jackson and Leo Volante already in the darkside, but is trying to get out. Wyatt Czar will never go to the dark side, and Alan Radleyton's life is a flickering light.

Q3: Alan Jackson grew up in America but finished HS and College in Japan, Leo moved to Japan at 18 and did not join college, Wyatt grew up in Japan and moved back to the Netherlands afterwards. Alan Radleyton only arrived at Japan in fairly recent years.

Question 1:
Haruka's goals as of now are kind of fractured. He wants to provide good utility to his new community first and foremost, and is hoping his skills as a photographer will lead to that. However, he also has dreams of being a legitimate wildlife photographer.

Personally, I would love to see his freelance photography business blossom.

Question 2:
I have left this incredibly open for Haruka. In terms of alignment, he skews onto the good side a bit but isn't too far from neutral. Likewise, his recent identity crisis has put him in a rather vulnerable spot, so there is a chance his values could go corrupt. Personally, I'm excited to see it go either way... although I always am a sucker for a good downfall.

Question 3:
Haruka comes from Toyama city in Toyama prefecture! The reason for moving to Norowarejima? A handful of realisations at the same time. First was that identity crisis he suffered (is still suffering from) causing him to want a fresh start. Second was his realisation that even a relatively small city like Toyama was too rowdy for him. Norowarejima beat out the other options because it'smascot is a cat, and Haruka loves cats. Also the relatively close proximity to an urban centre, as he wasn't ready to fully commit to a fully rural residence.​

Q1:
Konohana - She will be one of the Yokais on the island, but at most I do plan for her to just exist and bother people- No real goal or anything, just go with the flow for her.
Sky H.E. Volante - I just want to have her to be a background character that lives life peacefully. She wanted to get away from where she used to live with her husband and family, and raise her kids in a better place which would be Norowarejima!
Marina A. Jackson - Again no real clear goal for her, but shes here because of her husband Alan Jackson- I'm kinda just going with the flow with her too.
Warabihime Han-Martinez - Planning for her to become a student council member, I think it would fit her considering Hime is smart- But other than that, maybe one of the people who always helps around the shrine?
Buer Misono Tachitsu - Being an adult now here after running away where she used to live, I plan for her to become a shopkeeper here that sells witchcraft and such.

Q2:
Konohana - 50/50 depending if humans manages to influence her. She's quite a clueless kitsune, so if she does fall to the dark side, it would high chance be because of a human.
Sky H.E. Volante - GOD NO. Before she moved here, she was already WAS on the dark side- Being that she was a ex-yakuza head, she left that life for her family because she knows it'll put them in danger. I doubt she would fall back to that life again.
Marina A. Jackson - 50/50, she will only go to the dark side IF something puts her husband and children in danger. She's still is part of her family's mafia even if she says she isn't.
Warabihime Han-Martinez - Nope! Shes too sweet and nice to even be part of the dark side. She will actually actively try to go against it!
Buer Misono Tachitsu - Always has been on the dark side, and forever will be.

Q3:
Konohana - Seeing that shes one of the Yokais here, yes she came from Norowarejima!
Sky H.E. Volante - She came from another part of Japan originally, only moving to Norowarejima quite recently to give her children a better life.
Marina A. Jackson - She was born and raised in France, but moved somewhere in Japan when she was an adult, wanting to get away from the life of being a mafia and such. That's where she met her husband too, and now they're both in Norowarejima.

Buer Misono Tachitsu - Born in Egypt surprisingly, but grew up in another part of Japan. She only moved away from that place when she needed to run away, so now shes here!

Q1. To be honest, Kaoriya's goals is mixed but her plans is to have many opportunities for other students in means of promoting clubs and of the nature full-heartedly, She'll probably stay formal for a bit of her duration before slowly informal as she was raised to use formal honorifics to everyone. She's just a girl.

Yōko is a mixture, I want her to grow as a person that's trying to adjust to a new world she never had been introduced to mostly getting used to more sounds and trying to use her hearing aids more common, just adjusting to a new life. Though, I am unsure if I should get her a job or not, future me problem.

Q2. Neither will go into the dark side yet to be honest, I might have a future character that may be morally gray and be considered such ways to others as a whole but I won't dabble into that just yet

Q3. I'm considering Yōko being a native at a young age but went to another part of Japan for her education from High School to College and coming back as it kind-of makes sense with her new lore I made not long ago, either that or to South Korea

Kaoriya however, was born in Akita then moved to Nagoya and then to Norowarejima

Question 1:
Well, Ame got accepted to be part of the discipline committee in school. Her main goal is to help students and children however she can. At the moment, I'm planning on having Ame help out in the school for as long as possible, but who really knows what she'll be like as time goes on?

Question 2:
If the dark side you mean being in the life of crime, no. However, Ame will definitely be dealing with her own personal demons that isn't related to that

Question 3:
Ame was born in the Philippines but later moved to Japan, where she thus spent most of her adulthood in. She moved to Norowarejima in hopes for a better life, and to reconnect with old friends again

I'm looking forward to having my character possibly become a professor at the local academy - if that is achievable.

While I have no issue with dabbling in the dark arts - I will always return to wholesomeRP.

Did your OC grow up in Norowarejima or did they come from another part of Japan or somewhere foreign?
Erik grew up in Kyoto but spend a lot of time in the greater Tokyo Prefecture too, since his japanese side of the family is well spread over Hokkaido and the Izu Archipelagos.

I'm considering a few things at the moment, but I'm namely considering aiming for the Student Council, if it becomes a possibility!

Hard to say! Doubtful, with the upbringing I'm planning to give, but anything can happen through RP. I'm open to whatever path development leads me to!

Did your OC grow up in Norowarejima or did they come from another part of Japan or somewhere foreign?
I plan to look into Norowarejima lore and contemplate whether I want them to be a native to the island or from somewhere else in Japan! Though they will absolutely be 100% Japanese regardless!
