TAMBORA! Fusion Grill
What kinds of services or items will your company offer?
TAMBORA! is a restaurant and bar that seeks to provide top-notch food and drink
from the Dominican and Japanese cultures. TAMBORA! will also host events such
as live music and karaoke.
How will your company be unique?
TAMBORA! provided top-quality Latin fusion food. Additionally,
TAMBORA! seeks to bring a piece of the Dominican Republic to Japan;
bringing a tropical vibe and space for all kinds of events, from the casual hangout
or company outing, to weddings, after parties, and birthdays! At TAMBORA! Our mission is to
Bring the community together, united as one family, mix and mingle with strangers like you would with neighbors, friends, or even family! We plan to have community out reach initiatives and celebrations of culture, diversity, and unity!
Where do you plan for your building to be located?
Near the coastline.
We find that bringing that summer air all year round is the best for our community!

How do you intend to stay active?
I intend for Luciano Pรฉrez, my character and the owner, to be the head chef at TAMBORA!
handling the menu, managing staff during open hours, and events, frequently. As for how TAMBORA! will remain active as a business,
we will seek to engage with the community, hosting public events, allowing local bands to come in for live music, doing karaoke nights,
and having seasonal menu items such as Coquito in the wintertime around Christmas.
We also plan to have large block parties in participation with other local shops, businesses, and restaurants!
How will you pay your employees?
Employees will earn a reasonable salary per shift, taking a cut of that night's profit, as well as keeping any tips they may receive. 40-50% of all revenue from openings goes to the on-site staff regardless of tips. The money will be divided based on role. (I.E. Manager will make more than a server). We are devoted to a model of generous benefits and pay for our wonderful employees. In return for outstanding devotion to our community and restaurant!
How many employees will you hire, and what will their roles be?
Our staff will mainly consist of 3 managers, 4 bartenders, and 10-15 servers in total.
While per night there will likely be 1 manager, 1-2 bartenders, and 4-6 servers.
What will our schedule look like?
TAMBORA! will be based on a schedule of most late-night restaurants OOC.
Opening in the Mid-afternoon in ICLY time and staying open until 1-2 am ICLY.
In terms of OOC frequency, we aim to be open at LEAST 3-4 times a week!
What kinds of menu items will be featured?
Great question! So glad you asked. Our menu will prominently feature food from the Caribbean island of the Dominican Republic.
