The following is the main suspected way that the Muhito Family earned their fortune;
The Muhito family was a family built on oil and power. Their money flowed through every city, the business' that were created, founded and majoritarily owned by them took over multiple cities, invading capitals. Everyone in the oil business knew who dominated it; The Muhitos. Most people avoided them, money always went hand by hand with power. No one really wanted to mess with them, whoever spoke to them would have chills crawl up their spines. The elite class would not go by unnoticed, wherever they went people follow, especially the paparazzi. The Muhito family mainly resides in Hong Kong, them owning most of the islands.
Their estate rested on the Basalt island, it was known for being a hill structured island. Underneath the soil rested basalt instead of a rocks, a rare phenomenon. This rare volcanic rock is what made the island being named after it. Most people heard of the tale where in around the nineteenth century Lei Muhito, the founder of the family, the one who created the reputation that the family upheld to this day, the one Muhito who started their empire, was told to have bought a patch of land in the vast plains of southern Venezuela.
Upon arriving to this new patch of land Lei wanted to have his and his wife's Soo Muhito, farm house built there, back then they were still poor, lower class, working as farmers. The Muhito couple saved up as much of their money to hire an actual construction crew to build their home. Upon the arrival of this crew they were skeptical, something in the land seemed strange to them. Back then they didn't have proper machinery to actually examine the entirety of the land, however they still had the experience to be sure that their land was being taken up by something, something that they didn't know was going to earn them billion.

The crew started to look around, they dug into the ground in deep patches, trying to find something, something that they weren't sure was actually there. Finally a oil vein was struck, a worker shoved his shovel into the soil and a black liquid pooled out. No one really knew what it was, no one had been using oil in Venezuela. They heard of a magical liquid that was used for extraordinary things across the Atlantic but it hadn't reached them yet. Somehow the couple knew it could be valuable, they risked it. Lei instructed for all of the black liquid to be stored into barrel, so the crew did so. The oil vein had produced about three barrels, Lei and Soo put the barrels into their trucks and drove towards the capital.
Upon reaching it they went to a specialist who was their friend. Lei and Soo found out the true worth of this black liquid, they sold three barrels, around one hundred million Venezuelan bolรญvar. This was a huge sum, the couple was ecstatic. The amount of oil made the government of the united states very intrigued, so they asked them for more oil. With these news the young Muhitos hired even more construction crews, they had a good dozen working for them and they still had money left over. Upon these exploitations they used their growing amount of money and invested in the proper machinery. The entire project made them earn hundreds of millions in United State Dollars.
The couple moved to the United States and soon to Hong Kong, a place where they set up their final residence. Sadly the greed of Lei and Soo grew, they wanted more and more money and after having a few children including their heir, Alejandro Muhito. Alejandro was growing up spoiled to the core with his two sibling, Seo Muhito and Valentina Muhito. The Muhito legacy, empire, dynasty began.
Sadly the greediness pushed Lei and Soo to turn towards crime, they got involved in many high profile crimes, to gain more money.It is rumoured to believe that the Muhito dysnasty was built on blood money, people wonder to this day how Lei and Soo had enough money to buy such a huge plot of land in Venezuela to start with, they always said that they had saved up but how much could they have realistically saved up.
