TItle of your suggestion: Free Skin Distribution

Describe your suggestion:

The base concept is a forum/gallery of free outfits and bases for people to use upon first joining! I think that new players, who could have little experience with engaging in bigger communities, might struggle to fit into the server if they join without a skin at all to use- or even with skins that just don't match the server's current style at all. Obviously, with the server not yet released and without a "definitive" shading style, it'll be hard to find a common "consensus" as to what style is preferable to others and what is not; so, I think that drawing from the tailoring team's styles could potentially create a diverse portfolio for people to choose from! The outfits would be relatively simple conceptually, as would the bases, effectively making generic skins for easy use.

- How will it help the server's growth?

I think that the biggest struggle that some writers encounter when entering a new space or environment (on any platform, not just Minecraft), is fitting in. People become insecure about their writing, insecure about their social skills, and in the rather exclusive case of Minecraft, they often feel insecure about the way that their character looks! I think it is normal to expect that most players will naturally have skins that have a developed style, and as the server grows, that style will eventually become more generalized across the server's tailors; the issue is that when a new person walks into a room where they feel "underdressed", they might struggle to make friends or build a bound with the community. By offering free skins that offer a diverse cast of options to choose from, they can slip right in regardless of their background or experience in making Minecraft skins!

- Is it feasible with our current assets?

Yes! All it would require is finding generic references that match Japanese culture's formal and casual styles to turn into outfits, and then creating skins of varying ethnicity/race to ensure all demographics are represented! Then, you just need to write a script that triggers a link to a forum/gallery page when a new player first joins, giving them the option to assimilate easily if they wish. It'd also be useful to have it posted alongside the whitelist applications, so that they have time to prepare before being accepted.

- Is it a priority feature compared to how long it would take to make?

I do not think it would take long; it takes me about 1-2 hours to make a skin, usually less if I'm using pre-existing palettes I can modify. This concept is more late-stage development however.

- Which parts of the server would be benefitted from this change?

Every part of the server, because a server is bound to die if newcomers don't find it easy to assimilate.

Additional Notes:

I'd love to help out with making the skins required in every way I can ^^
